Our Chapter
The Buenaventura EMBS Chapter has hosted over 550 people at its monthly speaker events over the past 12 months and is the most active chapter of the IEEE Buenaventura Section and of the Los Angeles area Sections at large.
Nationally known speakers have attracted an audience that drive on the average 40 miles round trip to attend our events. Six colleges encourage their bioengineering students to attend the sessions, some for extra credit. Doctors and medical staff from neighboring hospitals join the audience.
